This 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS came in and needed to get a roof rack installed. All German Auto contacted Porsche directly to purchase the factory roof rack. 2009 was the last year available to install the factory roof rack and after it was purchased the roof rack was an easy install. The customer is now on their way to Mammoth to have some fun!

This issue usually begins with a complaint of loud noises or clunking in the rear. This typically happens on the “M” model of the Z3 where the engine is a lot more powerful and puts a lot of stress on the chassis. However, we do see it on the Z3 2.3L with the smaller engine.

Problem:
The power steering reservoir leaks from the weep hole in the cap. The fluid capacity in the stock reservoir is very small. The fluid gets very hot and if the car is driven hard. The system overheats. In severe cases it causes loss of steering.

Problem:
The power steering reservoir is plastic and has very low heat dissipation. As a result, the steering system overheats if the car is driven hard. Even if driven normal in warm climates, the system runs hot causing the life of the steering component to be reduced.
