Fun BMW Fact!

May 31, 2017

After WW II, BMW had started to build an incredibly expensive car, the 1952 BMW 502, with a V8 engine (which nobody could afford at that time). So as a solution, in 1955, BMW launched a car for the poor masses, the BMW Isetta!

The Isetta was designed by Iso Rivolta in Italy. The front door opens like the door of an refrigerator, which isn't too far off, because the company also used to make cooling systems.
